I get phone calls from production houses all the time but most want to turn it into something salacious. I won't do that.

BUT, there is some "chatter" around a potential TV show based on career mentorship, transition and reinvention. Oprah hasn't called quite yet. Ha. Some day, it WILL happen. ;)

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the kind words about the blog post. I caught the Today show segment this morning, it was terrific. Got me wondering...have you pitched Vocation Vacations as a TV show yet? Follow your clients on location as they test drive their dream jobs - I would watch for sure!

Cheers! R.

Brian,

Very interesting post. Indeed, I noticed that most of the time, people are considering work as a constraint and not as a positive thing. In that way, they don't move to realize dreams. It is a fact that if you like what you are doing, then you will convince the other, because you will be convinced also.
I started my career as freelancer 2 years ago, and discover hide talents or new things I like to do. I am in a coaching process in order to concretize some dreams ! Just to be concentrate on your goal.

Best regards,

Eric

Rebecca, love your blog and its/your mission. Reinvention -- one step at a time. Love it. And totally agree.

Great to hear from you! And I'm now signed up for your blog updates....
